Reward System in for essential organisational skills. Stars are given in to promote organisational skills these are 2 stars for:

Good listening, wearing an apron, naming all of your work, tiding up their materials, helping someone else and at staff discretion. Children total their personal weekly score which supports maths learning, honesty and self-appraisal.

Social Behaviour. We rarely experience any difficulties with children. If we do we will talk to you about this. We have a three warnings system in place which is rarely needed. We have a No Bulling Culture. Parents/ family adults can stay to support children if required.

Old cloths only please. We will supply aprons. Activities do get messy. We cannot take responsibility for damaged cloths.  We use paints, dyes and other substances that may damage fabric. School uniform is not advisable at club.

For your child protection. Consent Form. All children need a consent form filled out by a Parent or Carer before they can be left at club as we need you emergency contact details. We have never had an emergency.  First aid equipment is always in the room with a first aid trained member of staff. No child must leave the club until collected by an adult or sibling over 14 years.   We ask you to be prompt collecting them as others use the room at 7pm.  Please tell us when you are collecting you child. The younger children may go only when collected from the Art Room. We do not know who else may be using the building. Start Art children are always accompanied to the toilets by a responsible person. Smart Art go in pairs.
